What You'll Do
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our mission to optimize manufacturing processes. Your work will empower our teams to deliver exceptional results through innovative systems and data-driven improvements. Key responsibilities include:
Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement process enhancements to boost yield, quality, cost efficiency, and productivity.
Champion Lean Practices: Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and eliminate waste.
Optimize Systems: Develop or improve systems for sales order processing, backlog management, production planning, raw material ordering, and subcontractor coordination.
Enhance Quality: Establish metrics for quality and yield, and create process monitors to ensure consistency and excellence.
Plan for Growth: Conduct capacity planning to support scalability and operational efficiency.
Lead Equipment Initiatives: Specify new or replacement equipment, evaluate costs, calculate ROI, and define preventative maintenance procedures to keep operations running smoothly. What You Bring
We're looking for a proactive, organized, and collaborative individual who thrives in a multifaceted role. You'll need:
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing: Deep understanding of lean principles to drive operational excellence.
Quality Methodology Knowledge: Familiarity with SPC, Six-Sigma, TRB, FMEA, AS9100, or similar quality frameworks.
Multitasking Prowess: Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks while maintaining focus and accuracy.
Positive Leadership: A self-motivated, team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a knack for inspiring others.
Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; experience with database programs is a bonus. Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Mathematics.
