Position Summary
The Slate Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the university’s enrollment management efforts by maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing the Technolutions Slate CRM system. This position ensures seamless data flow and system functionality across recruitment, admissions, and related operational processes. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the Analyst will design queries and reports, manage system configurations, and uphold data integrity, ultimately contributing to informed decision-making and strategic enrollment outcomes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and implement Slate-related projects and initiatives aligned with institutional objectives and departmental priorities. Provide responsive technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance to address user needs and resolve Slate-related issues. Design, build, and maintain customized queries and reports to drive data-informed decisions and operational efficiency across departments. Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure secure and appropriate system usage. Upload and process data sets—such as standardized test scores, external prospect lists, application materials, and event data—according to established protocols. Conduct regular audits and perform routine system maintenance to maintain data accuracy, user functionality, and system performance. Partner with admissions, marketing, IT, and other campus units to support comprehensive recruitment and admissions strategies. Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of new Slate features, portals, communications, and forms. Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials to enhance campus-wide adoption and usage of Slate. Stay informed of updates to the Slate platform, emerging CRM technologies, and best practices in higher education CRM utilization. Assist with annual application cycle readiness, including configuration updates and integration with platforms such as ApplyTexas, Common App, and others as required.
