Position Description

The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in the design and deployment of Operational Technology (OT) and cybersecurity technologies to secure and harden industrial control systems, SCADA, and IoT networks. The position is responsible for supporting the design, implementation and cybersecurity assessment of operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) environments. The candidate must be comfortable working in an office environment and field environment. The position requires some travel domestically.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive security assessments which may include security tests of operational technology environments

The ability to assess and develop security architectures for industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and other OT environments

Understanding of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security solutions specific to OT environments and protocols.

Provide technical direction during design, installation and maintenance for industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and other OT environments.?

Provide external and internal consulting services in IT & OT and convergence challenges and solutions

Perform risk assessments and gap analyses against relevant industry standards and frameworks (NIST, IEC 62443, etc.)

Design and implement security controls specific to industrial environments

Work independently, create and deliver technical reports and executive presentations for clients

Select and deploy network switches, routers, firewalls, virtualized servers, converged platforms, client workstations, and cybersecurity platforms and tools in support of client goals.

Prepare physical and logical network diagrams, network topology and network architecture drawings, including preparing bill of materials for necessary hardware and software.

Configure, stage, and test equipment prior to shipping.

Travel to customer site to assist with the commissioning of network and computing infrastructure and perform remediation projects.

Provide training to client teams to ensure success at handover and beyond.

Develop testing plans including FAT and SAT documentation to validate security design.

Manage and maintain converged platforms, virtualization, networks, security platforms, and various other OT technologies.?

Perform cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and penetration testing?

Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering from an accredited school.

Minimum 5 years experience working with IT and Control System technologies.

Preferred networking certification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, etc.).

Self-motivated, energetic individual with a can-do attitude.

Strong problem solving and organizational skills.

Excellent communication, consulting, and presentation skills, along with exceptional written communication and reporting abilities.

Technical Expertise

Possesses significant knowledge of client/server and virtualized systems architectures and accurately suggests the use of the appropriate technology for the application.

Windows System Administration including Active Directory, Terminal Services, patch management, antivirus management, backup systems, etc.

General understanding and knowledge of IT/OT systems, including servers, networks, workstations, and infrastructure.

Working knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (DCS, HMI, PLC) preferably AVEVA, Rockwell, GE, and Siemens.

Understanding of Operational Technology, Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial Internet of Things Technology (IIoT).

General understanding of cybersecurity practice areas and industrial control system knowledge, NIST-800 is preferred.

Working knowledge of networking technology and network hardware and windows server environments including Active Directory and security concepts

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Must be able to develop documentation and communicate technical concepts and requirements to non-technical project team members.

Salary Description

130,000 - 180,000 Annually
