Newcomers will receive thorough on-the-job training from seasoned professionals, while experienced individuals are encouraged to take on responsibility and showcase their skills.
Job Description:
You will operate boring machines to drill into the ground at various sites—either outdoors or occasionally indoors—for the purpose of geological surveys. These surveys help collect essential data for the design of future construction projects. Daily commute to the sites is done via company vehicles (2-ton to 3-ton trucks).
What We Do:
Our company specializes in geotechnical boring, conducting surveys throughout the Kanto region. From soft soil in urban areas to hard bedrock in mountainous zones, we provide reliable geological data to major clients including government offices, construction consultancies, and electric power design firms.
Work Environment:
Our team is small but close-knit, and the atmosphere is friendly and supportive. Many of our staff members are calm and easygoing, making it a comfortable place to work. We also host annual company trips to encourage team bonding and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Who We're Looking For:
Individuals interested in geotechnical work and field operations
Team players who are reliable and eager to learn
Those with a valid driver’s license (required for on-site travel)
Experience in drilling, or construction is a plus, but not required
Experience in geological survey
Benefits:
Company housing (rented and subsidized apartments)
Two annual bonuses
Weekly two-day break (Saturday and Sunday), plus national holidays
Very low overtime (approx. 5 hours/month)
Training and career development opportunities
Why This Job Matters:
Following recent earthquakes, landslides, typhoons, and volcanic eruptions in Japan, the need for accurate ground surveys has become more critical than ever. As a field technician, your work helps contribute to safer communities and disaster prevention through responsible, data-driven infrastructure planning.
Join us in our mission to reduce the impact of natural disasters and promote safe development by becoming a part of a team of professionals committed to understanding and working with the natural environment.
