About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering electrical engineering services across sectors such as health, education, commercial, urban development, civic, and recreation.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing technical solutions and producing engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports

Providing technical leadership within the electrical engineering team

Leading and contributing to proposal development and technical reporting

Supporting project delivery across our offices in NT, QLD, VIC, and WA

Mentoring junior team members and helping grow their capabilities

Contributing to business development efforts

Bringing a systems-thinking mindset and driving continuous improvement in quality and processes

This is a critical role in our national engineering team and a key driver of our future growth.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

5+ years of electrical engineering experience

Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC)

Proven experience in building services design

Expertise in preparing design documentation, reports, calculations, cost estimates, and technical schedules

Proficiency in electrical and lighting design software (e.g., Powercad, AGI32, DIALux)

The ability to work independently and collaborate within a national team

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Willingness to travel for short-term assignments in regional and remote areas

A practical, solutions-focused mindset with a desire to improve systems and processes

Excellent written and verbal communication

A self-motivated approach with the ability to inspire others

A genuine desire to be part of a collaborative and hard-working team

Highly regarded qualifications and experience include:

CPEng or equivalent professional accreditation

State-based engineering registration

Experience in the Queensland market

Expertise in high voltage primary and secondary systems design

Experience using AutoCAD and Revit
