Job Description

The Lecturer of Supply Chain Management teaches courses in supply chain management and related areas. The lecturer demonstrates an ability and commitment to teaching, recruiting students, advising student organizations, making intellectual contributions to the field, professional service, professional development, and meeting the instructional standards of the division, school, and university.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach 30-credits of undergraduate courses day or evening and/or online courses per academic year

Provide student engagement: advising, career coaching, student organizations etc.

Provide institutional support that may include curriculum development, accreditation efforts, committee assignments, attendance at commencement, or other activities that are college-wide or specific to the division of the faculty member.

Participate in professional development activities that advance knowledge and skills within the discipline and participate in community service.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Minimum Qualifications

MBA with at least 18 hours of coursework in management, or in a closely related field from an AACSB or equivalent accredited university.

Meet AACSB standard 3 for faculty qualifications.

Ability to teach supply chain management courses as well as at least one other business discipline

Proficiency in traditional classroom-based instruction.

Proficiency in online-based instruction.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD or DBA in Business, or in a closely related field from an AACSB or equivalent accredited university.

A minimum of 2 years of experience educating students in supply chain management or related field.

A minimum of three years of industry experience.

Knowledge of LMS, online platforms, and technology

Other Requirements

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship and relocation allowance is not available for this position.

Position requires the lecturer to be on the Texas A&M University Texarkana campus.
