A client is looking for a Sports Mobile QA Engineer who will be responsible for Quality assurance & Release Management for Sports Mobile apps.
Location: New York, NY 10003 (REMOTE)
Preferred Time Zone: PST
Position: Sports Mobile QA Engineer
Pay Rate: $35 - $38/hr. on W2 (depending on experience)
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 1 st shift, M-F, 40 hrs. a week, must be flexible to work EST and PST (PST is 1st preference)

Responsibilities & Expectations
Primary responsibilities (daily/weekly):
Collaborate with a cross functional team (Product manager, Engineering lead & engineers) on projects they are assigned to. Proactively generate manual test cases and automate functional tests to ensure the Mobile apps are of high quality.
Organize bug bashes
Manage Sports Mobile app releases.
Utilize industry standard test frameworks to craft automated functional tests.

Automating functional tests for Sports Mobile apps
Automate BE API audits
Success metrics or KPIs for this role:
Work independently
Automate the manual processes wherever possible
Configure automated smoke tests before releasing apps to stores or on a regular cadence and also when BE side changes get pushed to staging or production to catch any regression issues proactively.
