Linux Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

Position: Linux System Administrator - Tier 2

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph About the Role:

Advance your career as a Linux Systems Administrator, working on critical cloud initiatives that support government operations. Collaborate with a skilled team to develop solutions that make a direct impact on public sector efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities: • Design & Develop: Implement and support robust cloud initiatives tailored to customer needs.

• Collaborate: Work within an Agile team to maintain program-owned applications (JIRA, Atlassian, BitBucket, RocketChat).

• Innovate: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to define network requirements and optimize user metrics.

• Maintain: Oversee infrastructure patching and OS baseline hardening for multiple Linux environments.

• Support: Ensure compliance with security standards in partnership with Enterprise Services.

Qualifications: Basic Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 2-4 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar technical role.

• CompTIA Security+ certification required.

• Strong Linux expertise and familiarity with infrastructure management best practices.

• 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Proficiency in Agile collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, RocketChat).

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph. Preferred Skills: • Experience with cloud-based architectures and other cloud vendors.

• Understanding of automated testing and monitoring processes.

• Familiarity with Engineering Review Boards and Change Management.

• AWS certifications or related technical credentials are a plus.
