About the Company
A well-established and growing premium consumer goods company is seeking a Controller to lead its finance function. The company specializes in high-end oral care products and has a strong retail and e-commerce presence. This is a confidential replacement for a key leadership role, reporting directly to the executive team.Team Structure
Standalone Controller role
Support from 1 Accounts Receivable Specialist and 1 Data Entry Administrator (NetSuite)Key Responsibilities
Lead and complete the ongoing NetSuite ERP implementation
Manage monthly and annual financial close for three entities
Oversee cost of goods sold (COGS) accounting and third-party warehouse operations
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and reporting
Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership
Support payroll and benefits administration (PEO experience is a plus)Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
Proven experience in a standalone or small-team Controller role
Strong background in manufacturing or distribution environments
Proficiency in NetSuite and Excel
Experience with third-party logistics and COGS accounting
PEO experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and wear many hats
Strong communication skills and executive presenceSoft Skills
