Job Title: Weekend Shift Machine Operator
Job Description
As a laser operator, you will be creating medical products such as biowearable sensors like glucose monitors, wound care bandages, and devices used for diagnostic purposes. You will be operating different machines, requiring a willingness to cross-train.
Responsibilities
Run cycles on the machines.
Inspect parts as they come out.
Conduct tests on parts.
Package items.
Document information manually and digitally.Essential Skills
Machine operation.
Production skills.
Laser operation.
Proficiency with micrometers and calipers.
Visual inspection skills.
Prefer candidates with 6+ months in manufacturing, machine operating, mechanical, or medical assembly experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical inclination.

Work Environment
The base pay ranges from $18 to $22.43, depending on experience and shift differentials. The weekend shift runs Friday from 10am-10pm and Saturday/Sunday from 8am-8pm. The work environment includes wearing lab coats and hair nets, and while it is not a full clean room, it is a pretty loud environment where you can use one earbud to listen to music, podcasts, or audiobooks. The team size varies by shift: 15-20 people on 1st shift, 5 on 2nd shift, and 3-4 on 3rd shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $22.43/hr.
