Job Title: Packaging Operator - 1st Shift
Job Description
Join a dynamic team dedicated to producing a variety of high-quality water flavorings, liquid additives, liquid sweeteners, coffee creamers, stevia, and mashed potatoes, all sold under well-known private labels. As a Packaging Operator on the 1st shift, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient machine operation and product quality.
Responsibilities
Set up and adjust machines, addressing troubleshooting during jams or spills.
Perform daily and weekly cleaning according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Load supplies into machines either manually or using hoists, and replace molds and cutting surfaces.
Test and measure finished products, recording activities and manufacturing stages.
Document lot numbers, quantities, and production details at specified intervals.Essential Skills
2+ years of machine operating experience.
Experience in machine setup and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in manual documentation at 15-minute, 30-minute, and hourly intervals.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in production operations, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate with team members across functional groups.

Work Environment
Work a 1st shift schedule from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, in a climate-controlled facility. The environment adheres to GMP standards, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, smocks, and steel-toed footwear.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
