We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with virtualization, storage, and automation technologies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and expanding our IT infrastructure to support the company's growth and ensure our systems are secure, reliable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
Virtualization Management:
Manage and configure our virtualization infrastructure at the hypervisor and hardware levels.
Perform regular updates and patch management to ensure system robustness.
Infrastructure Management:
Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and processes.
Utilize IT automation tools for deployment and maintenance tasks.
Ensure systems are compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
Work collaboratively with other IT teams to align on project goals and objectives.
Storage Solutions:
Manage and configure storage environment to optimize performance and storage utilization.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage systems and data backup.
Maintain posture for data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other departments.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
Implement and enforce security measures across all platforms.
Participate in on-call rotation and perform remote and on-prem after-hours work as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience working in a large enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of virtualization, storage, and cloud technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to write and debug PowerShell and other scripting languages.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
