Seeking a System Director of Facilities Management for a hospital system in Southern, Montana.

Job Highlights:

• Oversee key departments including facilities/plant operations, EVS, security, and food & nutrition

• Lead modernization initiatives with cutting-edge technology and safety protocols

• Great team, with 7 direct reports

• Strategic autonomy to drive systems-wide improvements and long-range planning

• Work in a breathtaking location in Montana, with a supportive executive team

• Square footage just under 1M (795,968 sqft) - 2 hospitals, 5 attached MOBs, 3 separate MOBs, outpatient lab building and business office

• Active Construction: Renovating hospital space to construct a new Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, 4 clinic renovation projects underway, a generator replacement and major proactive roof replacements underway.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in facility management/plant operations in a multi-service hospital/healthcare organization

• Must have experience supervising EVS, security, and food & nutrition

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with: building systems, maintenance practices, and facility management best practices.

• Experience with regulatory compliance and vendor management

• Preferred or willing to get: Certifications in Healthcare Facility Management, Facilities Project Management, or Certified Lean Practitioner

Your Day:

• Directing facilities and plant operations, supervising EVS, security, and food & nutrition

• Manage operational budget of $34M

• Manages contracts and relationships with multiple service vendors/providers for maintenance, cleaning, security, catering, etc.

• Overseeing maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and safety systems

• Implementing inspection programs, preventive measures, and emergency response systems

• Liaison and collaborate with departments, senior leadership and frontline staff to resolve facility-related concerns
