We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Data & IT Systems Engineer to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for a professional who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, IT infrastructure, hardware/software support, and enterprise systems management. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, supporting IT systems and peripherals, managing ERP configurations, and ensuring the overall reliability and security of our technology environment. Additionally, you will oversee the project management for the migration of our existing environment to Acumatica, which includes SSIS packages for reporting and Crystal Reports.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
• Build and optimize data models and data warehouses for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable data solutions.IT Systems & Infrastructure
• Manage relationship with MSP to ensure servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure are supported.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and security.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and IT policies.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery procedures.Peripheral & Hardware Support
• Install, configure, and maintain peripheral devices (e.g., printers, scanners, barcode readers).
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Support hardware integration with data systems and ERP platforms.Software Support
• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise software applications.
• Provide support for software-related issues.
• Collaborate with vendors for troubleshooting and updates.
• Ensure software licensing and compliance.ERP System Configuration & Permissions
• Configure and maintain ERP modules and workflows (e.g., Agtech, Sage 500, Acumatica).
• Manage user roles, access controls, and security permissions.
• Support ERP upgrades, testing, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and coordinate with vendors.Project Management for Migration to Acumatica
Oversee the migration of the existing environment, including SSIS packages for reporting and Crystal Reports, to Acumatica.
Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth transition.
Monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during the migration processIT Budget Oversight
• Assist in planning and managing the IT budget.
• Track expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate and recommend technology investments aligned with business goals.Education/Experience Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, IT systems, or ERP administration.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and features.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and ERP systems (Agtech, Sage 500, Acumatica).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and networking fundamentals.
•Strong documentation and communication skills are required as you will be the liaison between the company and vendors/partnersPreferred Qualifications
• Experience with real-time data processing.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
• Experience with data pipeline tools.
