Forklift Operators

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our cold storage facility. This role is crucial to the safe, efficient handling, storage, and shipment of temperature-sensitive products. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in cold environments, possess basic computer skills, and be comfortable working in refrigerated or freezer conditions. Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and overtime, is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming cold and frozen goods

Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in cold storage environments

Load and unload trucks with temperature-sensitive products while maintaining product integrity

Handle items carefully to prevent damage and ensure proper storage temperatures are maintained

Accurately document product information including quantity, condition, temperature, and time received

Report any discrepancies such as missing, excess, or damaged inventory

Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or internal transfers

Manage inventory across categories such as Hold, Aged, Damaged, and Special Handling

Enter data into warehouse and logistics software systems with accuracy

Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements in cold storage areas

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment

Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Shift: 3:30pm-12:00am
