Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Onsite)

Pay Range: $32.07 – $34.00/hour

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bioanalytical Associate Scientist to join a fast-paced, innovation-driven team supporting pharmacokinetic and drug disposition studies. This is a contract position with the possibility for extension or full-time conversion based on business needs and performance. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on lab experience and a strong foundation in bioanalytical techniques, including LC-MS/MS.
Key Responsibilities
Process ocular biological samples (e.g., cornea, eyelid tissue) to support quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical compounds.
Perform sample extraction and preparation using techniques such as liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) and solid-phase extraction (SPE).
Conduct and support LC-MS/MS-based assays for quantification of small molecules in various biological matrices.
Maintain accurate and timely records of experimental procedures and results in accordance with good documentation practices.
Collaborate with team members to support multiple ongoing projects and ensure efficient lab operations (inventory, ordering supplies, equipment upkeep).
Contribute to data summarization and assist in authoring technical reports or summaries.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field; Master’s degree candidates with relevant experience are also welcome.
1–3 years of laboratory experience (academic or industry), ideally involving analytical chemistry or bioanalytical methods.
Proficiency in pipetting, sample handling, and general laboratory safety practices.
Exposure to LC-MS/MS techniques, sample extraction methods, and handling of biofluids or tissues is strongly preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow detailed protocols.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
