Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our enterprise technology team within a leading financial services firm. This role requires deep experience in Salesforce development and a strong understanding of regulatory, security, and data sensitivity considerations within financial environments. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that support client engagement, sales, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce, aligned with business goals.
Build and maintain complex integrations between Salesforce and core financial systems (e.g., portfolio management platforms, CRM, client portals) using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware.
Collaborate with product owners and analysts to translate financial business requirements into technical specifications and implement them effectively.
Ensure development adheres to SOX, FINRA, SEC, and other relevant compliance standards.
Develop and manage automation using Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules to support client onboarding, case management, and compliance workflows.
Maintain robust data security, governance, and user access controls across the Salesforce platform.
Contribute to architectural design discussions and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Salesforce developers and admins.
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of Salesforce development experience in a regulated industry, ideally financial services or fintech.
Deep knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
Proven experience with complex Salesforce integrations in an enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Financial Services Cloud (FSC) is highly preferred.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks applicable to financial institutions.
Excellent communication skills, with experience interacting with business, compliance, and risk teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Integration Architecture Designer.
Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and DevOps tools like Copado or Gearset.
Background working in large, matrixed enterprise environments with multiple Salesforce orgs.
Exposure to wealth management, investment banking, or capital markets workflows is a plus.Company Description
