CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Rock Hill, SC

Pay: $30-$35/hr

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

CNC Machinist Skills Required:

Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings

Experience with developing estimates for clients, including creating accurate bill of materials and labor requirements for each part

Experience with quality control procedures and inspection methods required for checking complex parts

Ability to set up and run manual lathes, mills, and drill presses

Ability to develop CNC programs, provide setups, and run CNC mills and lathes

Attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve independently

Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or Fusion is a plus

Must be able to lift heavy objects (60-70 lbs) daily if required

Effective communication skills with all team members

Critical thinking skills to solve machining issues that may arise with complex parts

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

Working a 2-axis CNC machine and a boring mill (drill press)

Programming CNC machines is a plus

Reading blueprints and working independently
