Logistics Supervisor - Shipping, Inventory & Compliance

Job Description

Epic Personnel Partners is actively hiring a Logistics Supervisor for a fast-paced medical equipment distribution center in Bloomfield, CT.

Pay: $24–$28/hour

Schedule: Full-time Monday–Friday 8:30AM–5:00PM

Duties: The Logistics Supervisor oversees daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise inbound and outbound shipments of medical equipment and parts

Coordinate warehouse staff to maintain order accuracy and efficiency

Manage freight carrier and logistics provider relationships

Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution procedures to ensure compliance

Implement inventory control processes to reduce discrepancies

Train and mentor warehouse and logistics team members

Generate reports on shipping performance and inventory metrics

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred

3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management (medical industry preferred)

Proficient in shipping regulations and inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
