Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Junior Procurement Specialist to join our team as a key contributor across multiple functions. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process end-to-end—from identifying and evaluating suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices that uphold our quality standards.
You will play a critical role in supporting organizational goals by ensuring the timely and efficient sourcing, procurement, and delivery of materials, equipment, technology, and services. This includes facilitating projects such as providing cutting-edge technology solutions to private sector clients and managing construction and engineering initiatives for federal government contracts.
The ideal candidate will excel at balancing cost optimization with quality assurance, driving continuous improvement in procurement processes, and supporting the expansion of our logistics and supply chain capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including supplier identification, evaluation, and selection.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and quality.
Ensure timely sourcing, ordering, and delivery of materials, equipment, technology, and services.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with project goals and timelines.
Support both private sector technology deployments and federal construction/engineering projects by ensuring the availability of required resources.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that balance cost efficiency, quality, and risk management.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
Experience in the Construction industry.
Must have a Secret or Top Secret Active Clearance
Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations and contract management.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with procurement processes in both private sector technology and federal government contracting is a plus.
Full-time
