Job Description

Job Summary:

A System Installer – Electrical Systems is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and low-voltage systems, including security cameras, access control, fire alarms, and other infrastructure. They ensure all installations meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and test electrical and low-voltage systems, such as security cameras, access control, and alarms.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Run and terminate cables, including CAT5/6, coaxial, and fiber optics.

Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions and wiring issues.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients.

Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications:

Experience in electrical, low-voltage, or security system installation.

Knowledge of wiring, circuit testing, and electrical components.

Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with power tools.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, BICSI, NICET) preferred.Company Description
