Job Title: Local Route Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)

Full-Time $20.00 per Hour Starting Wage

Premier ProduceOne is seeking highly motivated Local Route Delivery Drivers to join our Dayton team! If you have experience with box truck deliveries and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you!

Our well-maintained box trucks do not require a CDL, and all routes follow a same-day delivery schedule. We operate six days a week, with Saturday availability required. Expect some overtime and the opportunity to earn a semi-annual Safety Bonus. Veterans are encouraged to apply!

What We Do

We provide our customers with fresh, high-quality produce, unique specialty items, and exceptional service. We need customer-focused drivers who take pride in accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. DOT certification provided!

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver products to assigned customers, using hand jacks, skids, etc., and placing orders based on customer preferences.

Safely operate and maneuver 24'-26' standard shift and/or automatic box trucks.

Meet delivery timeframes while using our truck management software to log activity.

Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment by monitoring product quality and verifying quantities.

Communicate regularly with dispatch to align with customer expectations.

Follow all safety protocols when entering/exiting the vehicle and while on customer premises.

Work efficiently to complete routes and provide excellent service.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

Must be 21 years of age

Valid Driver’s License

Qualified Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Must pass a DOT physical

Available for Saturday routes

Must be able to repetitively lift and carry 50-75 pound packages

Work history demonstrating relevant skills and experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Operate with a focus on safety

Work with a sense of urgency in a professional manner

Must be able to read and speak English

Must be able to pass a background check

Applicants must pass a drug test, including screening for marijuana, to be eligible for employment

Drug screens and background checks are performed on all candidates.
