Requirements: Quality Inspector US Person

High school diploma or educational equivalent (GED) in lieu of degree at least 4 years of relevant experience

Required to pass a vision exam and will need safety shoes.

Job Summary: Quality Inspector

At receiving inspection, the inspector will conduct inspections of products (parts, assemblies, raw materials, etc.) to validate compliance to design data requirements which include drawings and specifications, using basic inspection methods and tools. Inspects a variety of units using measuring/inspection instruments (e.g. micrometers, ring gages, thread gages, height gages, optical comparator and calipers) with proper inspection techniques.

Reads, interprets and utilizes policies, procedures, blueprints and other documentation.

Performs receiving inspection approval of components and assemblies.

Operates computer systems to perform inspection tasks (e.g. SAP).

Verifies all documentation, CofCs, Material Certs, and vendor documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Administers visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies.

Responsible for reviewing vendor submitted First Article Inspections.

Performs administrative tasks associated with files management.

Additional Information: Quality Inspector Schedule: M-F 7-430 (30-minute lunch) Saturday OT 8-noon Overtime Mandatory right now during peak season
