Job Description

* Saw Operator/Material Handler

*Location:

* Innovative Machine Specialists, Inc. – Marshfield, WI

***Work Hours: **

*7:00AM – 4:30PM

***General Purpose of This Position:

Saw various types of materials

Ability to accurately use and interpret measuring equipment

Ability to interpret drawings

Ability to effectively work with vendor drivers to receive in orders

Verify specifications

Consistent output of accurate parts

Ensure work area is clean and safe

Ability to effectively work with customers picking up orders

Ability to safely use forklift

Ability to safely use hand tools

Roadwork/installation at customer site as deemed necessary by management

Perform additional tasks as deemed necessary by management

Must attend required meetings at specified location

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach, bend, and work waist to shoulder. The employee is occasionally required to sit, twist/pivot (neck/waist), walk, work floor to waist, and reach.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70#. It is very seldom that the employee will be required to squat/kneel/crawl, climb stairs/ladder, or work over shoulder.

The employee will frequently use saws, blue prints, forklift, hand tools, and the use of measuring equipment including, but not limited to, calipers, micrometers, tape measure, CMM, and various gauges.

A shop experience is typical in this position. The employee will work indoors and very rarely be required to work outdoors. On occasion, there will be exposure to noise.

You should be proficient in:

Woodworking

Material Handler Experience

Deburring Experience

Excellent Communication Skills

Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Basic Computer Skills
