Electronics Test Technician (1st Shift)

SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Electronics Test Technician to support manufacturing operations at our location in Syracuse, NY. Activities will include the test, troubleshoot, and rework of production electronic warfare and radar systems, sub-assemblies, and components. These include RF, digital processing, and power / voltage-based devices.

What You’ll Do

Adhere to established test procedures and production processes to support daily manufacturing operations

Set up and utilize electronic test equipment (digital multimeters, spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, oscilloscopes, etc.)

Complete moderately complex assignments with an ability to self-direct and function autonomously

Execute comprehensive validation tests of RF and electronics-based systems; test circuit card assemblies and troubleshoot down to the component-level

Read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to aid in the test and troubleshoot process

Identify and accurately document discrepancies during the test and troubleshoot processes

Facilitate the manufacturing process as a key contributing member of the production team

What You’ll Bring

Associates degree in electronics technology or related field, or military / technical school degree in a related field, and 3+ years of experience in a related electronics environment; or high school diploma or equivalent and training from a technical trade school or military technical school and 6+ years of related experience

Strong electronics testing background with RF experience; basic understanding of RF fundamentals and operation

Demonstrated ability to accurately set up and utilize commercial test equipment (digital multimeters, spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, oscilloscopes)

Computer comprehension skills, to include the Microsoft Office suite; Linux command line experience is a plus

Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $61,500 to $75,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
