Hybrid position available! A client based in Saddle Brook, NJ is currently seeking an Accounting Manager on a contract-basis to support the Controller as the firm restructures the accounting and finance department. The Accounting Manager will be directly tasked with handling monthly close processes, including preparing trial balances, accruals/prepaids, monthly financial statements, and consolidating several entities. Additional responsibilities will include handling intercompany transactions and eliminations, preparing financial reports for PE ownership, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal Accounting Manager will have recent experience working in either publicly traded or PE owned businesses with stringent reporting requirements with revenues in the $100m-$500m range, will be proficient with NetSuite, and will have good interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with compliance reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Demonstrated ability to manage monthly close processes and prepare trial balances.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
