Project Engineer, PE - Water & Wastewater / Utilities

Position Summary:

We are looking for a growth-oriented Project Engineer (PE) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to advance your career in a locally owned and expanding firm, working closely with Principals and coordinating with clients, sub-consultants, and other team members.

Roadways

Water/Wastewater Utility Design

Pump Stations

Lift Stations

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct due diligence and research tasks

Assist in preparing and monitoring project schedules

Develop designs and drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Prepare engineering plans and reports

Coordinate with regulatory review agencies

Ensure work complies with applicable codes and design criteria

Provide technical assistance during construction phases

Secure internal approval for completed tasks

Communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications:

Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university

Experience: 8+ years in public works, with a focus on utility design

Licensure: Texas PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Leadership Abilities: Strong communication, collaboration, and team-oriented task management
