TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
CONTRACT TO HIRE ROLE IN ATLANTA, GA
This role will require onsite work at a large project site in Covington. This position will be involved in a multi-year mission critical initiative.
As a Technology Support Technician and Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of technology across a dedicated jobsite in the Atlanta area. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that technology systems are optimized and effectively supported. Strong knowledge of managing remote networks and maintaining advanced connectivity solutions, including Starlink satellite internet and Meraki cloud-managed networks.
JOB DETAILS
Tier 2 technical support dedicated to specific job site.
Understanding job site technology requirements and implementation: Collaborate with the construction team to ensure that technology requirements are executed in accordance with project schedules and meeting requirements.
Maintain continuous engagement with jobsite resources to confirm that technology systems are functioning as designed and meet operational standards.
Incident and Outage Management: Monitor, assess, and address high-priority incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Primary point of contact for technology-related escalations at job site, providing expert support and resolution. Including handling password resets, resolving connectivity problems, configuring Wi-Fi or VPN access, troubleshooting hardware issues like unresponsive touchscreens, battery performance, etc.
Assist with software updates, email configuration, printer setup, and ensuring access to applications, etc.
Identify, investigate, and analyze various technology incidents, delivering reports and actionable insights based on findings.
Execute assignments as directed by leadership.
Oversee the procurement and installation of hardware, including LVC (Live Video Communication) systems, access control mechanisms, and networking equipment for construction site.
Management of job site network / cellular connectivity.
Installation of job site resources workstations; setting up monitors, docks, network cables, etc.
Manage the installation, and ongoing operational support of audio-visual equipment.
Administration of printers and scanning software to support organizational needs.
Alignment with the Network, Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistency.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Two-year degree in computing-related field or equivalent work experience.
Strong technical background.
Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
High level of engagement

Solid verbal and written communication skills
