The Controller Position

The Controller provides oversight to a variety ofaccounting and finance related duties. This includes, but is not limited to, account reconciliation, standard entries, AP/AR, inventory reconciliation, maintaining the accounting systems, preparing financial statements, financial reports, and anything and everything else that comes up in the Accounting & Finance area.The Controller collaborates alongside the Project Management team frequently, including participation in Work-in-Progress (WIP) meetings and job reviews.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the Controller

Bachelors degree in accounting or related field

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, construction accounting experience preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically advanced features of Excel. Experience in Viewpoint is preferred

Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to be detail oriented with good follow-through and a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks

Ability to evaluate information and make independent decisions

Compensation & Benefits for the Controller

The position is full-time and permanent with a competitive salary based on skills and experience and an annual bonus. In addition, the Company offers Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, along with a generous 401K plan. This position is based in our Evansville, IN office but would start at the Henderson, KY office during the initial training period.
