DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer We are seeking a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer with strong Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) expertise to build and manage a Kubernetes cluster for hosting ServiceNow's GenAI application.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who is passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and Artificial Intelligence.
CLEARANCE • TS/SCI w/ CI Polygraph (existing clearance required to start) LOCATION • Chantilly, VA OR Aurora, CO OVERVIEW • Design, deploy, and manage a Kubernetes cluster from scratch to support ServiceNow's GenAI application.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure management using CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Work closely with ServiceNow teams to support the integration and deployment of GenAI applications.
• Ensure security best practices are followed for containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to define strategies for scalability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in Kubernetes, IaC, and ServiceNow to continuously improve infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering with a focus on Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized workloads (Docker). • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Basic knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring for Kubernetes environments.
• Willingness to learn and work with ServiceNow GenAI.
NICE TO HAVE • Experience with ServiceNow infrastructure or integrations.
• Familiarity with GenAI applications and their deployment in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Helm, Istio, or other Kubernetes ecosystem tools.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience implementing Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC, network policies, etc.). • Kubernetes Certification.
