BASIS Ed Central Office is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our established marketing and creative services team!

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

BASIS Ed, a leading educational management organization supporting the country's top-ranked public schools, is seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer who is passionate about storytelling through compelling visuals. Based in our Scottsdale Central Office, this role offers the chance to elevate a celebrated brand dedicated to academic excellence.

If you possess a unique ability to translate complex educational concepts into clear, engaging visual narratives, this role is for you. You'll be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of our innovative charter schools nationwide, impacting how we connect with prospective families, students, and the broader community.

As part of our in-house Marketing and Creative Services team, you'll act as a visual strategist, working collaboratively to craft integrated, multi-channel campaigns. Your designs will not only inform but inspire, driving the growth of the BASIS Charter School network through powerful and meaningful marketing materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Design and produce a wide range of sophisticated graphic content, encompassing digital and print advertisements, dynamic social media assets, user-centric email and web designs, professional brochures, and essential school support materials.

Collaborate closely with copywriters and marketing specialists to ensure a seamless integration of visual and written messaging, maximizing campaign effectiveness.

Leverage expertise in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite to develop innovative and effective design solutions. Bonus points for proficiency in animation and video editing to bring stories to life.

Actively research and integrate cutting-edge design trends and emerging technologies, including the strategic application of AI in design workflows.

Effectively manage multiple design projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and creative briefs from conceptualization to final delivery.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years of dedicated graphic design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates a strong command of visual storytelling, brand consistency, and impactful campaign work.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.

Exceptional grasp of core design principles: layout, typography, and color theory, with a demonstrated ability to apply them creatively to solve communication challenges.

Superior communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a fast-paced team environment.

Proven ability to work autonomously while also being a strong team player, capable of managing complex projects with meticulous attention to detail.
