Job title:
Maintenance/Facility Manager (7am to 3pm M-F with OT as needed)
Reports to:
Operations Manager & Plant Manager
Job purpose:
To coordinate and participate in the completion of a variety of preventative and preventative maintenance tasks in a safe & effective manner utilizing their organizational as well as supervisory skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
Prioritization and daily scheduling of maintenance personnel to complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
Evaluate training needs as well as implementation and documentation of training for all maintenance personnel
Maintain the ISO9001-2015 – IATF 16949 pertinent to the maintenance department
Develop and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance schedules for all building, IMM, auxiliary equipment and company transportation equipment.
Develop and maintain maintenance department continuous improvement projects.
Confirm competitive pricing and delivery on all maintenance department purchases.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on all auxiliary molding equipment such as, granulators, material dryers, thermolator, temperature control units, conveyors and press robotics.
Perform building maintenance tasks as needed such as lighting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, general cleaning etc.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on all IMM and related assembly equipment.
Documentation of all maintenance performed in a detailed manner.
Coordinate any driving requirements with respect to company pick-ups and deliveries or errands as needed.
Property maintenance to include snow shoveling, snow plowing and general up keep / appearance projects.
Troubleshoot all maintenance issues to determine estimated downtime and estimated costs to correct.
Communicate daily with the Plant Manager to develop a priority approach to problem solving and task management.
Communicate through verbal and written form with shift supervision as to the status of all shop equipment.
Maintain minimum levels production supplies as well as all critical parts through the inventory management process (database).
Complete special task fixture building and maintenance.
Complete equipment upgrades as needed and within reasonable capabilities.
Tooling identification and storage.
Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas.
Understanding and implementation of company goals and objectives.
Make sure all presses are running properly.
Shelf items inventory.
Offsite warehouse coordination.
Miscellaneous items that is requested of the maintenance team.

Qualifications
High school graduate or G.E.D Recipient.
Maintenance background or experience working in the maintenance field.
Mechanical ability
Acceptable driving records
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprint reading skill
Basic mathematics skills
Powered Industrial lift truck driving experience
Knowledge of basic hand tools
Safe working practices
