Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling reels for cables used in the oil and gas industry. We seek individuals adept in using hand and power tools, who possess their own basic tool set. Your responsibilities may include pulling electrical wire and utilizing crimpers, making this an excellent fit for those who are comfortable working on their own cars.

Responsibilities

Assemble reels for cables in the oil and gas industry using hand and power tools.

Ensure that all assembled products meet customer specifications.

Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to complete assembly tasks.

Perform heavy assembly work, distinct from assembly line tasks.

Conduct quality checks to ensure high standards of assembly.

Collaborate within a manufacturing setting to meet production goals.Essential Skills

Proficiency in mechanical assembly.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Experience in heavy assembly work.

Familiarity with manufacturing settings.Work Environment

Work in a semi-climate controlled manufacturing facility with large fans and heaters ensuring airflow. Enjoy a clean and organized environment. The shift runs from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as needed. Opportunities for overtime are available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
