Summary:

Sun Holdings is seeking a Treasury Associate who will report to the Corporate Treasurer, who reports directly to the CFO. The Treasury Associate will be responsible for performing daily banking and treasury tasks that support the corporate office and field locations.

Sun Holdings provides world-class franchise management services to the franchise ownership teams of some of Americas most popular restaurants. Brands serviced include over 1,200 Applebees, Arby's, Burger King, Cantina Laredo, Golden Corral, Freebirds World Burrito, IHOP, McAlisters, Papa Johns, Popeyes, Taco Bueno and Uncle Julio's locations in 35 States. The collective portfolio of brands we provide franchise management services to makes up one of the largest franchisee organizations in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and report daily banking activity

Check, inspect and verify daily bank transactions

Research, find and assign banks to new locations

Assist with the opening of new bank accounts

Record bank transactions in the General Ledger

Order deposit slips and deposit bags for the field team

Assist Accounting team with verifying certain bank transactions

Provide support with credit card payments

Support with wire and ACH payments

Support with checks scanning process

Support the Treasury team with other duties and special projectsRequirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

1+ Year of experience in Treasury or Accounting

Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity

Computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Organized, focused, and strong attention to detail

Desire to learn and to solve problems

Strong oral and written communication skills Spanish is a plus

Ability to work independently

Ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple priorities
