RESPONSIBILITIES:

Software

Know how to use git repository and install test SW and or restore the robot after use from teams

Will need to be able to sort through code to help with trouble shooting in

Will need to be comfortable with ssh and linux

Keep up-to date with the latest stable releases from the SW team

Maintain a strong understanding of System architecture

Will need to know how to bring Dev PCs onlineHardware

Will need to be able to read mechanical and electrical diagrams

Will need to trouble shoot robots and mechatronics systems when having physical problems

Will need to preform Mechanical, Electronic, Motion control and Power systems maintenance and integration

Need to be able to change and work with actuators and sensorsField Service

Will need to have a habit of documenting the unknown to make things easier for people to learn from what was tried and worked

Will be in-touch and at times working closely with both the hardware team and the software team

Will need to travel to other sites to install retrofits to robots for testing (30-50%).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

Strong mechatronics background

Hardware integration expertise

Basic-to-intermediate coding skills

Basic knowledge of how Docker (docker compose) works and knowledge of bash (basics at least)

Excellent diagnostic abilities

Clear communication style

Self-directed worker

Quick learner

System-level understanding

Release management experience

Documentation discipline

Basic understanding of networking

Basic understanding of camera arrays

Salary Range: $95,000-110,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
