Salary: $60,000 - 90,000/year We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team, specializing in PCB Testing and Assembly.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of printed circuit boards (PCBs), with a strong understanding of electronics principles, manufacturing processes, and testing methodologies.
This position is critical to ensuring the quality and reliability of our products before they reach the customer.
Responsibilities
Assemble and solder components onto PCBs using both manual and automated equipment (e.g., wave soldering, pick-and-place machines).
Perform through-hole and surface mount (SMT) soldering of various components, including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors.
Inspect and verify PCB assemblies to ensure correct placement and proper solder joints.
Rework and repair PCBs as necessary, including troubleshooting and correcting soldering defects.
Conduct in-circuit testing (ICT) and functional testing of PCBs to verify electrical performance.
Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and specialized PCB testers to troubleshoot and identify defects.
Perform signal integrity tests, voltage and current measurements, and other tests to validate PCB functionality.
Record test results and provide feedback to engineering teams for design improvements.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and testing in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in both surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques.
Experience with in-circuit testing (ICT), functional testing, and basic troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
Familiarity with common test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
