Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will work from requisition, order list, or stock list to pull required items. You will use a checklist to ensure kit accuracy as items are pulled. You will accumulate orders, report shortages, and transport completed orders to the distribution point or staging area. You will also process returned items and unscheduled issues, compile and maintain inventory of material received, stocked, and issued, and prepare requests for procurement of material. The role involves lifting heavy items and may require operating a pallet jack or forklift. Additionally, you will examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines, take inventory of stored items through cycle counting, and may audit kits for accuracy.
Responsibilities
Pull required items from requisition, order list, or stock list.
Use a checklist to ensure kit accuracy.
Accumulate orders, report shortages, and transport completed orders to distribution points or staging areas.
Process returned items and unscheduled issues.
Compile and maintain inventory of material received, stocked, and issued.
Prepare requests for procurement of material.
Lift heavy items and operate a pallet jack or forklift.
Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
Take inventory of stored items through cycle counting.
Audit kits for accuracy when necessary.Essential Skills

Work Environment
The work environment is a warehouse setting, requiring the use of close-toe shoes. It involves working with various technologies and equipment, including forklifts and RF guns. The position may require operating in different shifts, and the facility maintains a standard dress code for safety.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
