Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduit. This role includes repairing units, parts, and materials, reading and understanding the schedule and workflow requirements, retrieving materials from storage for assembly, inspecting assemblies for conformance to design criteria, organizing tools, maintaining an orderly work area, and writing maintenance work orders.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of tank equipment and wiring.
Conduct repairs on units, parts, and materials.
Read and interpret schedules and workflow requirements.
Retrieve materials from storage for assembly purposes.
Inspect assemblies to ensure they meet design criteria.
Organize tools and maintain an orderly work area.
Write and submit maintenance work orders.Essential Skills
2+ years of mechanical assembly experience using basic hand and power tools.
2+ years of experience reading blueprints.
Understanding of assembly, mechanical assembly, blueprints, schematics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work in a large, clean, and organized manufacturing setting. Training occurs on the 1st shift from 7am to 3pm for 2 to 6 months. The 2nd shift operates from 3pm to 11pm, and the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am. Overtime is usually every other Saturday, with Sundays never mandatory. The team consists of 60 assemblers per shift. Dress code includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and safety glasses.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60923.20 - $60923.20/yr.

80 hours of accrued vacation annually
$1.25 premium for 2nd and 3rd Shifts
