Payroll Manager

Kforce's client in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Payroll Manager with a company that is in major growth mode.

Duties: * Payroll Manager will oversee payroll preparation and processing, including weekly check runs, direct deposits, payroll tax administration, and wage garnishments * Lead payroll reconciliation and reporting, including annual W-2 efforts * Apply payroll law expertise to resolve employee and management issues * Manage departmental performance, quality, and people-including supervisors and team members * Drive team KPIs and ensure alignment with department scorecard goals * Lead special projects and initiatives from start to finish * As a Payroll Manager, you will present data and insights to senior leadership * Ensure customer-centric outcomes in all payroll functions * Own and drive departmental initiatives and financial performance * Analyze data to support business decisions * Collaborate with other functional and operational teams * Other projects as assigned by leadership* 5+ years of full-cycle payroll * 2+ years of experience leading teams, managing performance, and driving results * Must have strong payroll system experience (UKG, Workday or something similar) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present to senior leadership * Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) * Works effectively across teams and departments to achieve business goals
