Duties
Plans, develops, implements and manages programs, policies, and procedures to prepare for contingency events that would jeopardize the continuance of mission operations.
Leads work groups, task forces, or ad hoc groups in assigned areas for the purpose of improving the management of information resources in support of continuity of operations.
Prepares, manages, develops, trains and executes continuity and emergency operations for DISA and GIG Operations to meet or exceed agency and mission partner expectations.
Develops standing teams for key functions and programs, e.g., project inspection, crisis management, mission planning, mission assurance, functional planning and continuity of operations.
Leads matrix teams representing multiple organizations, officially tasked by their agency to work under the leadership of the incumbent in performing a mission/function specifically assigned to the continuity management office.
Develops information system techniques, establishes criteria, and makes recommendations when procedures/guidelines do not exist for telecommunication and automation resources/ requirements.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Providing end-user support, managing asset tracking, and ensuring compliance with enterprise protocols for software and configuration management and experience conducting property management, project management, or customer service to support IT systems delivery.
