About This Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-driven Master Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving data excellence and integrity across our organization. This position is responsible for managing and governing key master data domains—including customers, vendors, materials, products, and financial records—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards and business policies.
The Master Data Analyst will serve as a critical link between cross-functional teams and enterprise systems, helping to optimize data quality, streamline processes, and support business decision-making. By maintaining high-quality master data, this role directly contributes to operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and the overall success of our data governance initiatives. This position will be located in Bloomington, Minnesota, on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, update, and maintain master data records in ERP/CRM systems (e.g. JDE, Salesforce).
Validate data inputs for completeness, consistency, and accuracy across systems.
Monitor data workflows and resolve discrepancies across business units.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Procurement, Sales, IT) to understand data needs and ensure alignment.
Assist in the development and enforcement of data governance policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform regular audits and data quality checks to ensure system integrity.
Participate in data cleansing, migration, and enrichment activities.
Generate reports and dashboards on data quality KPIs and master data status.
Support system upgrades and process improvements involving master data.
Train internal users on data entry best practices and data standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in a data management, business analyst, or ERP role.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, Oracle).
Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL or Power BI is a plus.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and master data domains (customer, vendor, product, material, etc.).
Excellent analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of master data lifecycle processes in large, matrixed organizations.
Experience working in industries like manufacturing, healthcare, consumer goods, or technology.
Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.
