The Agricultural Technical Institute (Wooster) within the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is pleased to announce a vacancy for a part time associated faculty position (non-tenure track) for the 2025 Autumn Semester.
Position Location

Performance Objectives
Reporting to the Division Chair for Arts, Science, and Business at the Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI), the part-time lecturer in Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership teaches two sections of AGRCOMM 3130 (Oral Expression in Agriculture).
In addition to classroom activities, part-time lecturers are expected to hold office hours commensurate with course expectations and these office hours should be clearly communicated to students on each course syllabus. Semester responsibilities run from the first day of classes for the semester through the University established date that grades are due.

The Agricultural Technical Institute
At Ohio State ATI in Wooster, students can get started in a career in as little as two years with an associate’s degree or complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES). Ohio State ATI’s 1,700-acre working agricultural learning laboratory includes dairy, beef, swine, and sheep-goat operations; an equine center; a heifer-raising facility; and a land laboratory for crop and environmental research. On-campus resources include environmentally controlled greenhouses with hydroponic systems, the latest software for computer-assisted design (CAD), sports fields, turfgrass plots, a model golf hole, and science labs equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation such as electrophoresis equipment for DNA analysis. The CFAES Wooster campus encompasses Ohio State ATI and one of the United States’ largest agricultural-related research institutes, which is also a source of internships and campus jobs for ATI students. Secrest Arboretum, a 110-acre outdoor laboratory and landscape garden, is also located at CFAES Wooster.
