We are seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Chief of Pediatric Radiology to lead and oversee the pediatric radiology department at Hospital/Institution Name . As the Chief of Pediatric Radiology, you will be responsible for directing and managing all clinical, educational, and research activities related to pediatric imaging. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care for pediatric patients and guide the department toward clinical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Oversee daily operations, manage staffing, and ensure departmental excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

Clinical Care: Supervise and guide pediatric imaging procedures, ensuring optimal diagnostic quality and minimal radiation exposure.

Education & Training: Lead training programs for residents, fellows, and staff, promoting continuous learning and professional development.

Research & Innovation: Foster research initiatives and implement cutting-edge imaging technologies to enhance patient outcomes.

Quality & Safety: Develop and monitor quality improvement initiatives, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Strategic Planning: Manage the department's budget and resources, participating in strategic planning for service expansion.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

Board certification in Radiology and Pediatric Radiology (or eligibility).

Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology preferred.

Experience:

At least 5 years of clinical practice in pediatric radiology, with a proven track record in leadership and team management.

Experience in overseeing a pediatric radiology department or a similar healthcare leadership role is preferred.

Expertise in pediatric imaging techniques and the ability to manage complex cases.

Experience in academic settings, including teaching and mentoring.

Licensure/Certification:

Active medical license in FL

Board Certification in Pediatric Radiology.

Current CPR and BLS certification.
