We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse, including picking and packing orders, managing inventory, scanning items, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking and Packing:
Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
Pack items securely and efficiently to ensure safe delivery to customers.
Label packages with the correct shipping information and handle with care.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock levels as items are picked and packed.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Assist in organizing and arranging stock in the warehouse for optimal efficiency.
Scanning and Data Entry:
Use barcode scanners to track items as they move through the warehouse.
Ensure all items are scanned correctly to maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse.
Fast-Paced Environment:
Work efficiently to meet deadlines and manage high volumes of orders, especially during peak times.
Maintain a high level of productivity while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Adapt quickly to changes in order volume and warehouse procedures.
Safety and Cleanliness:
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Keep work areas clean and organized to prevent accidents and facilitate smooth operations. Ensuring safety is a requirement.
Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other warehouse associates and team members.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
Ability to operate barcode scanners and warehouse management software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to [X lbs], bending, and standing for long periods.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
