Job Description:We are looking for an energetic, self-driven, quality assurance coordinator to become part of our Quality team. This hands-on position will be responsible for inspection and auditing within all areas of the manufacturing facility, assuring quality standards are being maintained, participating in maintaining and improving the organization’s Quality Management System to assure customer satisfaction and quality, coordinating these activities to be complaint with ISO 9001 and cGMP.
This job is located in Guilford, CT.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)·
Coordinate customer required pre-press activities (multiple customers)
Coordinate / Ship / Track customer preshipment samples (multiple customers)
Aid in administration and execution of facility quality programs, (i.e., Lean, Nonconforming Materials, etc.)
Audit/Review/Pre-Approval of process paperwork for critical customer/production processes
Aid in machine qualification activities, including paperwork completion, measurement and analysis
Create reports / analysis as necessary / required
Initiate/participate in facility continuous improvement efforts
Back-up quality inspector
Other duties as needed and assigned by management
III. QUALIFICATIONS
*· H.S. Diploma
· 3yrs manufacturing / quality department experience
· Ability to interpret and implement customer specifications/requirements
· Excellent visual acuity and color discrimination
· Ability to work independently
· Computer literate (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.)
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Able to lift 40 lbs
*Reports Directly to: Director of Quality Assurance
. Also works with: Quality Assurance Technicians and Inspectors
