HRIS Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to support the Senior HRIS Analyst in managing and enhancing the Workday HR suite. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday, be well-versed in HR lifecycle events, and be comfortable working with tools such as JIRA and reporting systems. This role involves system testing, data auditing, process documentation, and end-user support to ensure the HRIS infrastructure is efficient and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Senior HRIS Analyst with Workday-related JIRA tickets and functional testing.

Perform end-to-end HR lifecycle testing for Workday enhancements, updates, and upgrades.

Create, update, and maintain test scripts for modules including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, and Payroll.

Analyze testing outcomes and document results within JIRA.

Manage and update Workday regression test cases and assist with release testing.

Develop and update job aids reflecting changes in the HRIS system.

Create, update, and run reports as needed.

Audit personnel data, particularly for new hires, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate with HR and IT to define business requirements and testing criteria.

Other duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with the Workday HR Suite.

Proficient in the JIRA ticketing system and testing workflows.

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Demonstrated experience in reporting and complex data reconciliations.

Understanding of core HR processes and employee lifecycle events.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree). Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating training documentation, reports, and dashboards.

Familiarity with coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).

Previous exposure to Workday module configuration or implementation projects. Certifications

None required. Workday certifications or training are a plus.
