In partnership with the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma Surgical Hospital is offering the following Athletic Training Intern position.
Job Mission: The Intern Athletic Trainers will coordinate the medical care of student-athletes in their assigned sport and secondary sport, including the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses. The Intern Athletic Trainers will assist in the daily operation of the athletic training room and act as a preceptor in the athletic training program.
Occupational Experience: Two years of athletic training experience required.
Requirements: Master's Degree in a related field. Eligible for the Oklahoma Athletic Training license and possess BOC Certification as a trainer. CPR/AED Certification required.
Specialty Knowledge Skills: Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, strong work ethic and self-starter, organizational skills and great attention to detail.
