About the Role

Westlands Water District is seeking a motivated and skilled Resources Analyst or Associate Resources Analyst to support critical water and land resource initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable water management and environmental stewardship in California’s Central Valley.

Position Highlights

Resources Analyst (RA)

Salary: $90,144 – $109,596 annually

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of relevant experience

Key Duties:

Analyze and coordinate environmental and regulatory issues

Manage water supply acquisition and delivery

Support SGMA and ILRP compliance

Associate Resources Analyst (ARA)

Salary: $77,856 – $94,656 annually

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience

Key Duties:

Support water supply estimation and conservation programs

Assist with groundwater monitoring and system design

Perform technical tasks including mapping, drafting, and research

Additional Requirements

Valid California Class C Driver’s License (if applicable)

Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
