Concordia University invites applicants for the fill-time position of Marketing Strategist.
This full-time, exempt position supports the communications and marketing for a portfolio of internal clients, with a special focus on the School of Pharmacy.
This position is part of a larger supportive team the Office of Strategy and University Affairs, which includes Strategic Communications and University Marketing.
This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing Strategy.
Responsibilities Act as the strategist for the School of Pharmacy, International Affairs, Athletics, and other clients as needed.
This includes support for communications, marketing campaigns and other initiatives.
As part of the Marketing Department, collaborate with colleagues on projects, planning, and strategy on behalf of clients.
Meet regularly with clients to understand news, needs, and context for usage in marketing and communication plans.
Develop multichannel marketing initiatives and strategy for clients.
Collaborate with School of Pharmacy admissions on campaign strategy to ensure enrollment goals are met.
Collaborate with School of Pharmacy on alumni outreach and content marketing.
Guide and execute the strategic direction of School of Pharmacy social media, with a focus on lead generation.
Encourage a "culture of content" for your clients, actively develop content marketing materials.
Ensure our brand platform is properly understood and executed by clients.
Work with the Director of Online Experience on website updates and strategy.
Help maintain clear and regular communication between the marketing team and clients.
Requirements Exceptional written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience content marketing and social media in a lead generation capacity.
Familiarity with marketing automation (knowledge of Hubspot preferred). Ability to collaborate on marketing campaigns, including traditional and digital tactics.
An understanding of analytics and how to apply learnings to improve campaigns.
Passion for working in a faith-based/mission-driven organizations.
Ability to occasionally travel and to work some weekends and evenings.
Self-motivation, ability to work with teams including co-workers at a distance, and strong critical thinking skills.
Education and Experience A Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
Compensation and Benefits This is a full-time position.
Starting range is dependent upon individual qualifications and experience.
