SR. Conveyor Project Engineer

Job Description

A well established company with a facility in the Auburn Hills, MI area is currently seeking a Direct-Hire Sr. Conveyor Project Engineer for their growing operations. Conveyor Engineer rates are anticipated to be $40 - $55 per hour, plus time and a half Overtime, plus generous annual bonuses. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Qualified Conveyor Project Engineers will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

* 5+ years of recent / relevant experience with conveyors and material handling project engineering or project management. * Experience with Automotive Conveyors are required: Power and Free, Pallet, Skillet, Skid, Monorail Systems

* Solid engineering skills including performing technical calculations including drive sizing, machine elements, structural elements, etc.

* Must be able to travel up to 15% for customer meetings and site visits.

* A BS in Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred. Will consider similar degrees.

* Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 or OPT visas, Canadian Citizens / TN Visa eligible applicants welcome).

* Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.Company Description
